Why those par values?
Par is a solid, ordinary day for that game: good enough that you'll make it most days, hard enough that beating it means something. Every game gets its own, set from its rules and, where it's published, how people really play.

How par is chosen
- Always inside the rangeThere's always a better score than par, and a worse one.
- Real play, where it's publishedConnections par is 6 guesses, which allows two mistakes, so a perfect solve is an Eagle.
- Why these par values? We based them roughly on the average score, and on playing the games ourselves.
