Share your Connections result to Scordle and it lands in your club's feed, builds your streaks and stats, and counts in any Connections competition you're playing.

About Connections

Connections lays out sixteen words to sort into four groups of four. You can make four mistakes before the board is lost, and the groups get trickier from yellow to purple.

How sharing Connections works

  1. Solve today's ConnectionsPlay as normal, on its own site.
  2. Share your result to ScordleUse the game's Share button, or copy the result and paste it in.
  3. Your score is read on your phoneScordle reads how many groups you found and how many mistakes it took, then posts it to your clubs.

Your score is 4 plus your mistakes, so a perfect board scores 4. A lost board always scores worse than the scrappiest win.

Alongside your days-played streak, Scordle counts how many days in a row you've reached each level, with your best ever beside it.

Missed a day? Grace days keep the streak alive. A Wipeout still ends it.

Connections questions

Do mistakes count against me?

Yes. Your score is 4 plus your mistakes, so a perfect board scores 4 and three mistakes scores 7. More than half of players solve with no mistakes at all.

What's par for Connections?

Par is 6. Eagle is the best grade you can earn.

Can you fail Connections?

Yes. A lost game is a Wipeout. It ends your Smart Streaks for the day, and in a competition it scores 9 or worse.
