About Wordle
Wordle gives you six guesses to find one five-letter word. After each guess the tiles turn green for a right letter in the right place and yellow for a right letter in the wrong place. Around four in ten wins land on the fourth guess, which is why par is 4.

What's the average Wordle score?
Most players average between 3.7 and 3.8 guesses, and hard mode pushes that towards 4.2.
What's par for Wordle?
Par is 4. Albatross is the best grade you can earn.
Can you fail Wordle?
Yes. A lost game is a Wipeout. It ends your Smart Streaks for the day, and in a competition it scores 8.
